If I want to download all the pictures from my BV6000, but by connecting the handy with the PC, I can´t see the BV6000 in the explorer? It will only charge!

What´s wrong?

install a compatible drivers will solve your problem.

While I got no problem connecting my BV6000 to Windows7, the PC running Windows10 could not mount MTP storages of the phone. Investigation in device manager showed "unknown" device and every try to reinstall drivers resulted in message about faulty section in the .inf file.

I don't trust any downloaded content some recommended, so I looked for another way that I was feeling is safe.

When the phone was connected and set to MTP,I opened the Windows INF folder (usually C:\Windows\inf), found file wpdmtp.inf, right-clicked and selected Install from the pop-up menu. Confirmed installation and got my BV6000 visible.

That is all very well, but the drivers are not easy to find. Windows 10 will do a search for one, finds one and then the download fails, with an error code. The recommended NZ link for MTK fails and the numerous other offers seem to be virus packed. Surely there is a straightforward way to access the drivers, without which the phone is really handicapped?

I use Linux.

...nothing.
I need it, because I want to use Helium Backup.

Windows 7 should mount BV6000 as MTP with no problem

Windows 10 has problem with installing / updating driver, Device Manager shows unknown device, complaining that the section of .inf file is invalid when trying to reinstall the driver.

I this is the case, you may try what I did:

1. Connect your phone to PC's USB
2. Open folder C:\Windows\inf
3. Right-click the file wpdmtp.inf
4. Select "Install"

This helped for me. Please report the effect if you try.
