Unhide caller ID, how to display my phone number when I am calling someone?

Sat Nov 19, 2016 7:43 am

Whenever I call someone from my new bv6000, the recipient phone displays "hidden number", and no one answers those kind of calls nowadays.
How to switch on my caller ID (if that's the proper word for it) to display my number to everyone I am calling from my phone?
Usually this is to be found in android settings, but I can't find this option on my bv6000.
Help, please!

After installing, open and later uninstalling the google phone app from playstore you will find a settings menu in the original device phone app which was broken before. Here you can change all settings like caller ID, Redirecting, knocking, etc.

@Phil:
Tried that to no avail. Your suggestion doesn't seem to work on unrooted phones.

it worked for me without root. When you access the settings menu in the phone app go to "calling accounts" and click on the SIM-Cards Name.
