I noticed that turning on mobile data doesn't always work; it will say "not connected" in browser and apps, but when I turn on and off airplane-mode, it starts working again. It's really odd and I'm wondering if I am the only one having this issue.

I'm on most recent Firmware (from November 2016)

Maybe problem caused by a week signal in your place.

This is not caused by a weak signal. I have the same issue from time to time.

This happens to me too. It happens usually when the phone is in WiFi range for longer time. Like since yesterday afternoon till today morning. I hed no Internet connection in the city center. Weak signal could not be the case. Switching to airplane mode and back solved problem in a minute. Knowing this is not a huge problem... if I'm not driving at the time looking for navigation/traffic data.
I had the same problem with my old phone (MODECOM Xino Z46 X4, Android 4.2) so it's possible that's an operator issue. My SIM card is also very old if it could mean anything.

I'm suffering from the same problem: The mobile data seems working (at least the icons are in the notification area shows that), but the phone is not able to connect to the internet. The only solution is to turn airplane mode on and off to "reset" it. The other thing is that - despite the full coverage -that the other side cannot hear me talking.

Software version is: 20161011

Unfortunately not; it happens at pure random
I *believe* it has to do with the power saving functions for the hardware (no I don't have the power saving mode turned on!)

ive got the feeling it happens mostly when leaving a wifi.
but not really reproducable

Hi Guys,

I have the very same problem - after connection ti wi-fi, the mobile data is not switched on automatically and turning on and off the aeroplane mode fixes the problem.
Tried to switch the place of the sim card, but not effect at all.
Is there hardware or software solution for this?
