Hello, i had a software upgrade a few days ago and since then i have video issues. It´s like the fps ist very low and it is kinda "lagging" the sound continues normally. Apps like youtube and 9gag, which i use a lot on my phone are barely useable. I would like to solve this problem without resetting my phone if possible.

Would be great if someone knows a solution.

I confirm the same issue on my A60 dauther's phone. NetFlix and Youtube, for instance, were working correctly before update, and just after update, CPU goes to 100% and image is very slow (but sound is OK) and so video is no longer synchronized with audio.
I tried to power off and power on the phone without success.

It is a European version: A60Pro_EEA_M169_V1.0_20210308V20_20210309-0451.
I can't tell previous version used, certainly the previous official/deployed version.

I believe that I'm having the same issue. Ever since the recent software update, high-definition videos have been very laggy. I am able to play videos via a browser on the phone, but only in a resolution no more than 240p. Any higher, and the video struggles to keep up with the audio. Using the YouTube app though, even videos in the lowest resolution will lag.

I don't know if this is relevant, but since the previous software update a few months ago, I started getting a lot more notifications that would pop up at the top of my screen which would hang around for a few seconds before disappearing. These seem to be from apps that predominantly deal with media files, and it was as if they were constantly scanning for new content multiple times a day. I don't know if this behaviour is normal, but it's very distracting to have your phone beside you and see it happening all day long, to the extent that I actually uninstalled a number of apps just so that I wasn't seeing it so often. But like I say, this may have nothing to do with the current problem with lagging video.

Just to be clear, the issue I'm having is with playing video, namely from YouTube etc. Though from what I can tell, videos recorded using the phone's camera seem to play back more or less smoothly on the device itself.

I'd rather not if it's all the same. I don't really want to be sending videos to strangers across the Internet, and besides, I don't have anything to film that could adequately demonstrate stuttering during movement anyway. But like I say, recorded video via my phone doesn't seem to have any noticeable issues.
I was hoping that there'd be an easy solution to this, but if not I'll just hope that a future update fixes things.
