It's my first message here, I searched if the problem had been addressed in a previous topic but I could not find.

I've got a BV9800 since Yesterday, and I let it charge all night long (8 hours) with the official charger. But this morning, the battery is only at 77% .
Is it normal for this kind of battery to charge this slow, or is it a default ?

Is this due to the first charge? How Can I optimize the battery?

There is no first charge should be long time. 
You can try to charge it use other USB Cable. Maybe it is issue Cable.

Hi, I also have the same problem. After the first top-up made by me, the percentage reached 79% and after another top-up it reached only 50% without the fast charge starting. I am trying to use the USB cable and charger of my old BV 8000 Pro
