Ok, So funny thing first...

So I have requested for TWRP on xda-developers.com, expected to get some voluntary help from guys, but have received a request to donate the amount of money required for developer to purchase this phone, so they could develope TWRP for it. And I thought... well You know (ehem...)....

Then I found this awesome service at Hovatek with customer support. They replied promptly and sent me working TWRP within a day or two for free, no donations required. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST I HAVE EVER FOUND! If I will find myself in situation anytime in future they are the first I will go with!!

ALSO, ONE USER REPORTED IT WORKS WELL ON BV9800 AS WELL.

Yes, this does work on BV9800 as well. You can check here for more info, some guy tried it on BV9800 and said it worked flawlessly: https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-32580.html

Tried to flash the Hovatek TWRP onto my B9800 via SP Flashtool but it didn't work out


anybody a clue where to disable the verified boot?

Unlock the bootloader. It will wipe the phone!
If you still have the message, also disable OEM lock in the phone developer options

OEM Lock in the developer options was already disabled
how to unlock the bootloader? I thought unlocking of the bootloader was done by this OEM Lock in the developer options?

It's not enough. You need to unlock flashing and put your phone in orange state
