I've just bought a new BV9800 Pro and I'm facing with a lot of issues with the battery.
The charge is quite low (ok, big capacity could be the reason for that) but I've seen battery life is really too short even if I'm not using the cell so heavily or continuously.
I've tested it by installing commons apps and using it as a std smartphone (WhatsApp, FB, SMS, camera, no gaming, no video, no long calls, no GPS) and battery stands for about 12-13 hours. From 100% at 7 am to 5% an 8 pm, roughly.
I've also tried to restore it at OEM configuration but the issue is still there. As addition, I've seen the charge is lost even if the mobile is switched off.
I would like to use this mobile also as GPS during my trips in motorbike but, with this issue, is impossible for me.

Any suggestion or check I can take a look in order to fix the problem?

For charging, use the atleast 2A or 3A charger and fast charging usb cable. Personally, I receuved from UK seller a 1A 5v charger with ni blackview logo so I didnc't even used it, cause I know what means amps for charging. So I use atleast 2amps quality charger with quick charging cable. Yes, it takes time to charge phone.

Right now I am testing my own battery, so I installed greenify app to hybernate the apps while phone is locked, it works better if phone is rooted (not yet figured it out how to root it).

Also installed Battery Widget Reborn, it shows approx. Time left in convenient way. By the way, go to battery management settings and check if there is any app that eats your battery. For me it was my watch app called sportscount, even when not in use, it sucked the battery.

Also, as there is adaptive brightness feature turned on, You can still adjust screen brightness. As for me, it is too bright by default, so I lower it, which also makes the battery to last longer.

Same problem, the battery sometimes discharges really fast, even with the screen off and battery economy on. The screen off battery consumption is 1.4%/h most of the times, and 0.3%/h just sometimes.

Blackview Admin...I have seen a couple of posts on battery drain in the 9800Pro...with some identifying the FLIR camera as the cause...can you please escalate this to get a fix via an urgent firmware update?

I have figured out how to stop the battery drain and figure it's something to do with programming of the phone. Not to long after I got the phone it started discharging the battery quickly. Went from going 2.5 to 3 days without needing charged. Then went to not even lasting a day. I noticed that every time I plugged my phone in I would get email notifications like crazy. Decided to restart the phone after every charge and that seems to have solved the battery drain. It has something to do with when you charge your phone. At least mine does. Hope Blackview gets this figured out. Very frustrating!

I found that mostly when I play games like roblox fps games. I guess its because of these gaming sessions. 
Even surfing the web doesn't take that much as playing games. Even the quick discharge is annoying as hell.

Can you check which apk consumes fast battery usage in the settings?  You can use it for one day and a half in normal.
