Blackview A7 Pro LTE or not?

Mon Aug 05, 2019 11:14 pm

I bought a Blackview A7 Pro from a certain Aliexpress seller in March 2018. That phone was a very good call for the price and it has support for the 4G network. I was happy to find that you have an official Blackview store in Ebay and in Aliexpress, and I was going to buy an another A7 Pro phone. However, I realized that the marketing material has no references to 4G anymore.

GSMarena specs say A7 Pro does LTE: 4G bands LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800)
https://www.gsmarena.com/blackview_a7_pro-9044.php

Yet, all of the listings by the factory stores say it's 3G only. An example:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Blackview-A7-Pro-2GB-16GB-Quad-Core-Fingerabdruck-Smartphone-5-0HD-Handys/352690882545

Is it so, that A7 Pro does not have the 4G [color=#231f20][font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]LTE
capabilities anymore, or is this just a marketing decision to not tell about it? I think it is misleading to change specs after release, if so. (I know the model is old but that doesn't change things, does it?)

Also, if the LTE support has been removed, can I get it back by flashing an old firmware to the phone?

Hi :)
I've got an old Blackview A7 Pro and recently bought a new one at the official ebay seller Account for my mum. In the description it said "3G Phone with Fingerprint" but actualy it does support all the bands, my phone supports, as well. So it has got 4G. Its just not the fastest 4G there is. Just like from the start. No changes, as far as I can see.
Hope this is helping ;-)

Hi, Blackview A7 is a 3G network mobile while A7 pro can support 4G.
I have checked the listing you posted, the seller maybe wrote the wrong spec.
