Like lot of us, I dislike stock rom that comes with 6800.
I've seen that thanks to Treble Check app, this stock rom could support GSI roms !
I've tried to install one of them to get a custom, clear, recent, pretty rom but I get stuck : try it yourself and give tips if you success !
Here you go the steps I've crossed.
- So I getting back to phhusson GSI list and have choosen Ressurection Remix pie version
(A partition, cuz on the Treble app, it's written that's 6800 is A partition and not A/B) - Thanks to SP Flash Tool, I've burned system partition with the RR.img instead of stock system.img.
- Reboot, black screen and a [size=85]little fastboot was wrote in the bottom left. (multiple reboots gave the same result)[/size]
- So from my cmd on pc, I did : Code: Select all
fastboot oem unlock
(necessary for next steps, don't forget to go to enable OEM Unlock in Dev Options on your phone) and followed instructions on phone - ThenCode: Select all
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot flash system RR.img - And to finish I reboot and I get bootanimation (yeaaaaaah)... to much bootanimation because I get bootloop
