Hi my bv8000 pro no longer works with my mobile banking app since last update. They say my phone is rooted when its not. It work out the box with my banking apps then i updated and they no longer work this is very frustrating as all my other blackview models have worked with them. I have checked root and saftey net with apps that check your phone and they all come back ok so whats going on?

I suggest you to perform a factory reset and try again. Let me know if this solves your issues.

Hi i have try the factory reset about 3-4 times it makes no difference it must be the last update that has changed phone software that is the issue. As the kernal has something about @root? Maybe thats what is causing the bug?

If you remember wich the previous firmware version was, you can simply downgrade to that

A firmware downgrade to the previous working version, followed by a factory reset, will SURELY solve your issue.
If it doesn't, the culprit is going to be your baking apps than the phone...

I have sane in UK , I find online older version apk of my personal bank(santander) so this worked out for me take tik off from auto update and you should be fine.
On same bank but app for bussines I couldn't find in UK any earlier apk , so this not working with my phone, I was trying to download from play store Santander business app, but it said divace not supporting this app and it can't be installed.
My phone Bv 8000 pro with android 8 , bank apps I using called Santander UK
