My BV6000 detects a new OTA update from March 12th, named BV6000_Blackview_V01_20170412_20180312-1851, with a size of 149.35 MB. It says that it contains "minor bug fixes". Why do I not find any post on this ROM here in the forum? What bugs are fixed? Has anyone installed this update, and can comment on whether it is worth downloading/installing? If I don't want to do OTA, is there a file that can be downloaded and installed/flashed through TWRP?

I'm on 8/07/2017 too and can't get the update either. I removed the root from my phone with no luck there.
How does Blackview as a company survive when they do things like this without providing any details at all.

Since long time i don't update my phone via OTA because this is only partial scripts and not really compatible with TWRP (some 4PDA forum specialists says that it's not secure).
Seems it's better to wait a new complete ROM and flash it with SP Flash tool ...

@tomithyom, why you don't flash the last complete ROM 20180104 and after done, root your phone again ? I think that last OTA update is not really important and you could wait a real full flashable ROM when available ...

I'm in the process up updating to the latest rom anyway.. Will see if the update goes through then.
