[SOLVED] How can I stay on one network using BV8000pro?

Thu Jan 18, 2018 11:46 pm

Dear forum/ admin

Can anyone suggest how to permanently stay on 3G or 4G network band? There is always a downtime when phone is switching to different bands. E.g 4G/WCDMA/2G.

I know BV8000pro is VoLTE provisioned, how do I make use of it using a 4G LTE SIM that can make calls via VoLTE

Hi there!

Go to Settings -> More -> Mobile Networks.
- Enable the "Advanced 4G LTE" setting.
- Under the "Preferred network type" setting, select "4G".

IF the 4G is available, your device will always stick to it.
If you device switches from different bands, it means that these bands are not always available (carrier's fault!)

The BV8000 PRO supports the VoLTE protocol, but it has to be available from you carrier and your cell service.
When active, the VoLTE icon will appear on the status bar.

many thanks Admin, but under the preferred network type there is no singular option for 4G.

What i have is 4G/3G/2G(auto), 3G/2G(auto), 2G

The option "4G/3G/2G(auto)" will be good ;)
