Confirmed, also 27-12. Using opencamera with auto settings doesn't solve (at least for me).
Changing the white balance in stock camera (pro mode) set to the "cloud symbol" is ok for the red, but introduces too much yellow.

Can anybody else confirm that?

And i have the same problem too. My Rom version: Bv8000Pro-Blackview-V0.1_20170803_20171227-1550

Still red is pink (( But not always, it depends on the lighting.

Can you flash your device to this version, perform a factory reset after that, and report back if the issue has been solved?

I recently bought a BV8000. I have flashed it to the newest ROM version. After that I did a factory reset and the colours are still pink instead of red.
I have also installed open camera, but it's the same problem. If you set the white balance manually to cloudy, then at least the red is correct, but then the picture is generally too dark and other colors are not 100% correct.

In automatic white balance, I generally find the image clearly too bright and the colors too pale
