My new bv4000 has very weak WIFI sensitivity. I have a strong wifi signal for all other devices but this phone can hardly detect the network. Wifi range from the signal is extremely short. It makes the phone fairly useless for its intended purpose. Please help with any method of increasing the wifi sensitivity.

thanks for opening the first post here.
But to better understand can you please explain the issue a bit? As you surely know Wifi reception, throughput etc is depending on many things that can have a negative impact. There are even router issues that can have an impact. I myself had a mobile that restarted when connecting to a router of a certain brand.
May I ask what Wifi access point you are using?
If you don't mind, you could install the app Netxpro or any other that shows signal strengths of your connection in dBm to the router and post the results when you see a weak signal.
But in general, the HW of the BV4000 is of course not comparable to a mid-range or even high-end phone in the sense of antennas and sensitivity of the chip-set, so you would probably expect a lower signal quality in general. Maybe a cheap range extender would then help, if the issue persists.

I have the same problem so I purchased a wifi extender and have it about 2 meters away and still it drops signal. Other devices will stay connected but not the BV4000.
Any suggestions?

hi just got the bv4000 pro
wifi well it works well if I am next to the router but range of the wifi is not good move just outside the house and can't get wifi at all.
never hade this problem with any other phone work shop is out the back of house get good wifi in ther for laptop but phone can't find wifi aT ALl any idea or help

Dear Admin I have the same issue with poor Wi-Fi reception, I have the zte zxv10 h201l ADSL Wi-Fi router. Other Wi-Fi devices work flawlessly. Please investigate the problem and do some thing. Other than that the phone is great.

Will forward such issue to the tech team.
