Hello,

I am from Germany and live near the boarder to the Netherlands.
Today it's the second time I spend my vacations there and the roaming option with the BV8000 pro do not work at anytime.
Before the BV8000 pro I used a Galaxy Note 3 and a Microsoft 850XL and roaming works every time.
Firmware and apn are up to date. Yestrrday I tried the factory reset, but it does not help.
On the display the phone gets a 4G roaming connection, but I can't open any homepage. Either any app get a internet connection.

Does anyone know a solution for this problem?

Hi All,

I have a problem with my BV8000pro.
I using a SIM from "Telekom". When I´m in Germany, data is working fine.
When I´m outside from Germany data roaming is not working (Tested in China and Qatar).
Phone and SMS in Roaming is working.

I have doublechecked the APN settings with a other phone where Data Roaming is working fine with my SIM-card and the settings are correct.
Also Data Roaming is enabled on my BV8000

Something what can be the problem:
When I check the status under:
about phone -> status
"IP address" is Unavailable and when I check in menu "SIM status"
"mobile network state" is always "connecting" not "connected" like when I switch to the the local card.

Installed software is "V0.1_20170803_20170906-1035"
When I check my software version under "wireless update" I got the message "Your device´s software is currently up to date"

are there any tips what I can check or some other solutions that data roaming will working?

Did you try another SIM on your device? it really looks like a carrier problem than a device problem.

By the way, performing a firmware update and a factory reset may be helpful as always.

What's your carrier name?

His carrier is "Deutsche Telekom"

This is a solution posted by mueller-christ: set the "MVNO-Typ" of APN "T-Mobile D" from "/" to "IMSI" and save.

Hello, I don't know if it will be necessary, however, when you change the mvno type to imsi a new field is available to set: mvno value.
If data is not working with mvno value set to "null" try changing it accordingly to one of these values depending on your operator:

Many thanks, I had the same situation, on my trip I bought a SIM on Germany of Telekom.de, but when I traveled to Italy and Malta the Roaming it didn't work. One stranger thing was be my Nexus5 does roaming worked fine but my BV8000pro not with the same SIM. This parameter resolved the issue. Thanks!
