I'm getting mixed messages and would like to be sure the BV8000 Pro will work on the Sprint network in the US before ordering.

It should work but please compare the frequencies by yourself:

2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G: WCDMA 850 /900 /1700 /1900 /2100
TDSCDMA 1900 /2100
4G: LTE 700 /800 /850 /1700 /1800 /1900 / 2100 / 2600
TDD 1900 /2300 /2600 /2600
CDMA 2000
