[CONTINUES IN ANOTHER THREAD] Multifunction key and Preferences

Thu Jul 20, 2017 5:19 am

I have both BV7000 pro and now the Bv8000 pro too. I can't access preferences in BV8000 pro to Switch to Two-Layer Launcher View like the BV7000 pro to use the Appdrawer. Does BV8000 pro not have this option ? How can i do it ?
Another thing : how can i set functions to multifunction button as i can do in bv7000 pro in the smart key ??
Seems that multifunction button in bv8000 pro is just a PTT/ SOS button, not offering the customizations like BV7000 pro. How can i set functions to multifunction button in BV8000 pro ?
Thank you

Both BV7000pro and BV8000pro don't support Two-Layer Launcher under Android 7. We suggest to install an other launcher if you need it.

Ok, and what about the multifunction button ? Can an update make it as customizeable as in bv7000 pro ? consider this in a next update, it's a very cool thing

Yes i switched to nova launcher. Besides bv8000 has better camera and specs, in my daily use i still keep thinking bv7000 pro has much cooler functions

I agree. I started to get use to Parallel Space, but now in the 8000 pro they removed it. sometimes I wonder who are they building the phones for? the users or themselves?

market demand. they make faster phones but then you loose software and functions. sounds kinda backwards.

I also have some trouble with the multifunction keys. In the camera app, all physical buttons (except power) can take pictures.
Tis may be fine for some, but it is really annoying for me. I didn't find where I could disable this. Any ideas ?

@dhamokk no, they are talking about the second app drawer in the launcher.

@Aeron
Maybe try to use an other camera app like open camera.
