Hi,

This is a new rom for fixing the problem of android pay.

Any the phone withour such a problem should never try this one.

The fingerprint is now release-keys but the kernel is still flag as unsecured and the device one again failed the Safetynet test. So no Android Pay yet again.

Do you test the rom and try it with the application that fails, e.g android pay before releasing it?
You dont need to actually add a card you just need to be able to get to the dialog for adding a card

Scenario
1. Start application
2. Press add card
Result: Google displays a dialogue showing that the software has an issue
Expected: To see the forms for entering a credit card

Please dont release a rom saying its fixed until you have fixed the actual problem and can view this screen

So after all this, has blackview listened to its customers? When can we get the ota update of a completed ROM?
How do I return my phone otherwise?

Yes they listened, just download the file and update your phone! It is very simple, just download the file, put it on your phone, then go "Settings" -> "About" -> "OTA Update" then click on the three dots on the top right, select "Local download" and select the file. That's it. Pokemon Go and my bank app now works, they did not before. Thanks for the fix!

Hi,

you bank app is also android pay ?

I have completed a local update using the file "s12v55_jk_3m-ota-1474528685.zip". The current version is now BV6000_Blackview_V01_20160922.

However, apple pay still comes up with the following error message: "Android Pay can't be used - Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is Android compatible". The app from an Australian Bank has a similar error message.

Thanks for following up. Let me know if you need further details.

Hi,

If you have tried any other apps about paying to check if they can work or not ?

Unfortunately I don't have a computer to do this. Why can't they just release a working operating system ota?

I couldn't give a rats about the poke thing tbh but good for you.

Found a few other all that don't work. One being the mega .NZ app where you get the update from. Ironic huh. Not sure what's causing that one bit it just crashes instead of opening.

Hello Blackview's Admin,

Maybe you could consider this link for testing purposes in your labs :

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... om.mwallet

The app name is T-WALLET.
Local payment in my country.
It can not work when a smartphone in ROOTED status.

Once again,
I give you that link to test your ROM development (wether it works or not using BV6000 ROM).

Thank you.

What's really confusing is why you are so against signing the ROM correctly and releasing it ota. Is it a cost cutting exersize, or Perhaps keeping a back door open for something more sinister? I'm no programmer, but the banks don't like it so its making me suspicious.

This thread maybe sheds light on just how many people are having problems, and we are just the ones that have managed to find the forum.

I bought this phone because it has the NFC feature that should work with my banking app. I does not meet that spec. How do I return the phone to you for a refund?
