I have this cell for 10 dias only. after first turning on, 3 firmwares were installed. I have never seen flashlight shortcut working. I though it was Nova Laucher that somehow could block that function, but returned to launcher 3 and same problem.

Hi, i have the same problem since the last update .

I just did the reset. The flashlight is dead. The second problem with this phone in a month of use. First the loudspeaker now the flashlight.

Phone also hangs? Did you try capturing a snap?

It was a one time thing what happened before. I had never experienced such thing before. Is the admin reading this?

Don't confuse a flashlight hardware related issue with the flashlight bug (flashlight not working ONLY when in lock screen) we are talking about in this thread.
Is your flashlight working or not in or outside the lock screen?

Mostly a phone freezes when some apps creating a problem , the RAM becomes overloaded and phone gets freezed.so in this case kernel is set to reboot phone after a certain period of time and it can happen to any phone.The 2nd thing could be a hardware issue and 3rd could be a software issue but as I have used almost all major updates and did not face such kind of issue so I can only say if its not a hardware issue you should wait for another major update.

I wrote to this thread in the first place just to inform you that I am having the same problem with the flashlight as everyone else does and that it is not just by magic working to me. The reason I continued to write here is because my problem occurred right after I wrote here. I didn't even know I had a hardware problem since my flashlight was working fine the night before. In your opinion I should have written in an other thread but all I did was continuing the conversation I had with an other user. Summarizing for you, no my flashlight isn't working at all in any app or in the test runned by the *#87# code. I am frustrated having a second hardware problem in a rugged phone without even having dropped it or got it wet even once.

I know that hardware faults are annoying, but we must keep threads on topic (and doing it is not easy).
For your hardware problems, i suggest a replacement under warranty of the whole unit.

Dont Play With *#87# code

I just wanted to check the code *#87# and there was an option Restore Factory Settings.I wanted to see whether would it ask for my pattern or security code or not? I just touched it and phone immediately rebooted, i forced it off but when i turned it on again, still it made a factory RESET and i lost all my data.
