Finally successfully followed the flash procedure. So I got stuck on the steps between scan, find the port and then reconnect. Make sure you have only one checkbox with your detected com port otherwise you get an error about repetitive or invalid com ports...

I don't think update 20180124 will fix the reboot issue.
My BV8000 just rebooted while updating the MS Outlook app.
Maybe I shouldn't have DuraSpeed activated this morning.

By the way: you can set your phone to silent mode to hear no starting sound at next (re)boot.
I'm having the same problem, the mobile is rebooting everyday.
And I have some others problems:
The battery is not lasting more than 24h
Even in airplane mode is consuming battery normally
When charging, it's warming a lot

The 20180124 update came exactly to solve/mitigate the reboot issue affecting some users, you should definitely try it before thinking
Duraspeed can be tricky, i suggest to disable it.

For the battery drain problem, wich has been already solved by a firmware update, refer to this specific thread:

Being warm while charging is normal as being warm while under heavy cpu usage.

Your firmware version is definitely obsolete.

kindly note that:
If you are checking the build number it will always show the 20170803 ,so if you want to check present rom you should check wireless update instead.

Today I had another reboot - after nearly 700 hours without reboots.

I am impressed, no reboots since flashing to the latest, compared to twice or tree times a day, and once when I was mid-call!
What's more, fully charged 1 day 7 hours ago, and only 50% used, estimated 1 day 7 hours remaining, compared to barely getting through 24 hours without needing recharge.

So this patch seems to work only in few cases.. good but not enought!
I'll forward it to the tech team!
EDIT: i tought that Mike installed the latest firmware, but he didn't.
