Same problem here on bv9500 (not pro).

I have try'd factory reset over the recovery menu, with and without sim and/or sd-card, nothing works.

Installation of update runs around 10-15 seconds and at araound 25% "ERROR" apears.

Update doesn't seem to be there anymore, have you pulled it (to fix it) Blackview?

After having performed a factory reset, in this case don't load a previous phone backup. Start from scratch, remove SIM and MicroSD and try again.

Guys, please follow these steps, as it may be a working solution.

1) Remove SIM and MicroSD.

2) Fully load your phone's battery (100%), AND keep it connected to the charger.

3) Perform a factory reset from the recovery menu:

4) After factory reset, DON'T load any previous phone backup, just have it new from scratch. DON'T install any additional app, keep it standard.

5) Reboot the phone, connect to a wifi network, check for updates and install the update.

Performed a factory reset as requested PRIOR to downloading new OTA...but now the reset phone can't see the OTA.

It saw it before, but suffered the Error upon installation.

Does Blackview actually test its updates on real phones before release?

HI, same problem on BV9500 (not PRO).

Any solution without performing factory reset???
