The solution is updating it to the latest firmware version (20180124), available both via OTA update or flashing.

From the beginning of the problem i stated and reccommended many times to switch off the device to SAVE battery charge for a future update released to solve this terrible issue.
If you had saved your battery charge, you would have had enough charge to perform an OTA update.
But your device is now drained, so OTA update will not be possibile.

Here are the possibile solutions:

- Go to any repair phone center, tell them to open the phone and directly charge the battery with an external charger.
Once fully charged, you'll be able to switch your device on and perform an OTA update to the latest version.

- Try to flash the new firmware with a drained battery. Don't know if it will work, but you can try.

I suggest the first solution.

Hello, I'm in Argentina, my cell phone does not charge. Unfortunately, I'm left with 0%. But in * factory mode *, it stays on, this indicates to me that it is not the battery. Maybe the solution they give here works for me. By chance someone knows where I can take my cell phone, here in Argentina, to charge the battery?
Thank you.

Is there already a solution for this problem?
Its my 3th bv8000 pro in 3 months. that has problems and there is no solution for it. (lost al data 3 times)
I have done the latest 20180124 update and done factory reset and it dont work.

Blackview admin if you are a good tech company than take a search for the problem on a customers phone.
So you can help others to tell them what the problem is.

And not safe your battery for a solution and let them wait months.

The (most rugged smartphone) with the most buggiest software.
I can drop it of a roof but if you do a ota software update it destroys it self.

Dear Admin this is NOT the solution. I have tried this instal it from ota. That update was the problem. After that update it wont charge anymore.
Its my 3th bv8000 (most rugged smartphone) that dies from software bugs in 3 months.

Please come with a solution youre tech staf has tried and works. Or take a phone with that problem and search for the problem.

Are you telling me that you OTA updated your device to the 20180124 version, performed a factory reset, and after that your device isn't charging anymore? Did i understood properly? Did your phone charge correctly before?

What was your previous version?

Yes thats correct, after the update it works for 3 days and then it wont charge any more.

I tryed 2 chargers and cables. When i plug it in. 2 seconds a charging symbool. Then it dissapears and nothing happens.

I have 60% battery now. Contact the seller for money back for the second telephone. But i get no reply.
