This sensor is used in particular on Smart Cover
Those covers that are shut down when you close the screen of the tablet / phone
or the cause to special rules as in the case of the known galaxy 3
as for now on this model alife p1 pro not given a msart cover (but you can 'buy separately) this function is not needed for now

I have an issue with the latest ota update of this phone , once I set the fingerprint and assign a passcode number ,when I try to unlock it by sliding doesn´t ask me for the passcode anymore , just unlocks the phone , the security is down , of course the fingerprint unlock works ,but that´s useless if the phone unlocks by only sliding

If the unlock function have problem please flash it first

Hi, I got the latest update and WiFi disconnect still exist. I left my WiFi on at night then when I wake up in the morning it is disconnected. I have already check settings. The WiFi stay connected longer but still disconnect.

One more thing. The WiFi does not reconnect automatically. I tried shutting down my WiFi router when the phone is on sleep mode, when I turned on my router the phone does not reconnect automatically when sleep you need to wake the phone to reconnect.

I got the latest update but still the problem exist, it does stay longer connected but try putting your WiFi on before you sleep, you will wake up with WiFi disconnected. It's personal experience. And one more thing if your phone is connected to WiFi try turning off your router when your phone is on sleep mode then turn your router on, after that the phone does not connect automatically you need to wake it up before it connects.

I just flash the rom , then update the phone again and the option of Lockscreen passcode is gone , can you fix it please , because without the passcode anyone can unlock it even if it has the fingerprint activated.

No , the current problem is not how to select a different unlock option , the real problem with the latest wireless update is that when you set the fingerprint unlock mode , the phone unlocks just by sliding and DONT ask for the passcode number and thats a security problem ,the phone unlocks with the fingerprint ,but do not ask for a passcode when you slide the screen ,that means that anybody could unlock the phone ,try it with the phone and you will see
