Re: [TRACKED] Android Auto connection failed

Mon Apr 15, 2019 7:32 pm

New firmware version BV6800Pro_S592_V1.1_20190320V23_20190320-1136 downloaded and installed on saturday, 13.
Problem solved: when I connect the phone to my car with the cable, Android Auto starts automatically and the display in the car show me all the functionalities without problems (maps, media, telephone, etc.). The phone is ok and there are no more accidental restarts.
Thank you, BV team!

Hi.
After updating the system today, it looks like the problem is resolved.

I'll check it out again.

Hi everybody.
I'm having trouble in connecting my bv6800 pro to my seat full link infotainment.
The original bv6800 smartphone cable is correctly detected by other samsung devices and latest android auto update starts to work without problems.
The same cable doesn't works with bv6800: the smartphones charges, but the usb connection is not detected. Not even able to choose transfer file option in smartphone connections menu.
The firmware version is "bv6800Pro_S592_V1.1_20190816V33".

Thank you very much for the support.

My only need is to be able to connect Android Auto with car system Seat Full-Link.
About PC connection: my smarthpone bv6800 pro connects and trasfers file with every pc without having any problem.

Hello, Can you try to connect it with another car? We need to test whether the phone is not compatible with your car.

Just tried to to connect the smartphone to a new hyundai i20 infotainment: same problem. The smartphone charges, but is not able to detect the usb cable for file transfer option. Obviously the car system does not detect the bv6800 pro.
This hyundai car system, as my Seat full-link system, works with any problem by using other smartphones and the same blackview cable.

Transfer files can be connected to the computer, but it can't support to connect with a car.

I have a bv6800 pro and my car is the new Toyota Yaris and when I tried to connect my phone to android auto sistem with the original blackview USB cable I had the same problem that you have. The smartphone start charging the battery, but the android Auto sistem don't connect. Then I tried with a different cable (SBS unbreakable USB cable) and if works perfectly, the connection to the android auto sistem of the car stars immediatly. In fact, with this cable the phone charges the battery much more faster than with the original cable.
