I just flashed it using SP Flash Tool and it's working fine. The new setting to disable the SOS button works perfectly. It even defaults to off, which is of great help. I haven't had time to test face recognition yet.

I flashed it instead of OTA update and now it's working fine.
Will report if this one is battery friendlier.

I successfully flashed it and the battery drain during sleep has been resolved. The phone goes into deep sleep. Lost 1% in 2 hours.

Whereas my phone has never been plagued by the deep sleep issue I must say the 1219 release has improved the battery life over the 1114 one.
It has consumed 6% in 13 hours at rest but with 4G (bad signal), wifi and bluetooth on as usual. I can tell that I'm happy with it!

Your issue is definitely not common. What about FLASHING your device to the latest firmware version?

If these can't fix your problem, or if you can't follow these tutorials properly, the only solution will be to contact your seller for a replacement... no other solutions for the moment!
