I have the same problem. I tried it multiple times with no luck. Hopefully an OTA update will be available soon as I don't feel comfortable to do a flash of the Rom.

Hello.
I've tried to update my bv 8000pro with the local update.
It do all the think (restart then the circle update in progress and restart)
But when i check my informations i'm still in 20170803_20171011-0929.

So how can i update my phone without using sp flash & co.

Guys, if you don't want to wait for the OTA, or if you can't get the OTA update, please perform a firmware flash.
The local update seems to be bugged and the tech team is aware of it.

So the questions are:
The bug in the local update will be repair?
When the OTA will be coming? For me i'm a fench guy who live in Mayotte

Follow our tutorial, flashing will be easy
Tech team will try to sort this issue, but not ETA at the moment.
Nobody can predict when the OTA update will come
