I reported some time ago, that I find the GPS really sluggish and inaccurate. Well, I think I found one cause for my bad experience.

When I connect the (car?) charger to my phone, the GPS signals deteriorate substantially. Here some screenshots from this morning:

I guess, there is no solution to this but to unplug the charger while driving in an unfamiliar, congested area with lots of turns ...

Or does someone have a better suggestion, respectively, does someone have a car charger / USB cable that does NOT cause this issue? I tried 2 different fast chargers with the original OEM cable ... (current at time of problems ~ 0.8A).

Status Update:
When going home yesterday, my GPS was working OKish again. So I thought I check about signal levels and charging current, etc.

The GPS signal strength was good and I noticed that the charging current had gone up to about 1.3 - 1.6A (full charge rate as the battery was around 70%, ).

The higher current seems to generate less signal interference with the GPS receiver!!!!!

When the charging current drops to a lower charge rate (~ 0.6-0.8A) as the battery reaches full level, the charging circuitry in the phone (!?) seems to have a negative impact on the GPS reception!

Not sure if this circuitry purely operates on hardware level or if the (e.g.) switching frequency is controlled by the firmware?

In case it is the later, @blackview_admin, is there any chance you could think this over and come up with a software update that can fix this issue!?

Because the battery performance is so good, it is more then likely that the phone is mostly operated in the car during the "end phase" of the charging process, meaning a lower then max current!

I confirm I have the same problem. As long as I unplug the charger, GPS signal stays. If I plug the charger in, GPS location is lost. Unplug the charger and I'm back on track.

In my experience, some apps seemed to have more trouble than others. E.g. Google Maps and Sugic lose track of location immediately while Osmand and Bike Citizens lose precision but are still mostly able to find the location. I think it has to do with the current they require to run.

Tried multiple car chargers, all well able to provide 2.4A and more. Behaviour seems independent from the charger.
