Lower buttons don't work

Hello,
I have a problem with my phone. I used it for 3 months, and it didn't suffer any physical dammage (no shock or water).
The lower buttons (options/home/back) don't work anymore. The touchscreen works perfect at any point, aswell as any function of the phone, with the exception of the three buttons on the bottom.
Can you tell me what the problem might be? And if it can be rezolved without the replacement of the screen?
