first, let me say that i was very happy with my new BV5000, bought on November the 10th at Gearbest onlinestore.
But two weeks ago it happend, that the phone accidentely sliped into the bathtube when i was trying to do a photo of my doughter.
The phone was into water for a maximum time of 5 seconds, water level was aproximately 15 to 20 cm.
I shut down the phone and removed the battery quickly. After that i dryed the phone on warm and dry place. (no backcover, no batery)
12–15 hrs later, i reinserted the battery. The first thing i noticed was, that the left one of the 3 buttons is illuminated. Even if the phone is powerd off.
When powering on, the phone boots normaly. The only issue is the permanentely illuminated left button - the other ones are not, even when touched.

I wrote a request for guarantee repair to the seller. They answerd quickly and asked soe questions how it happens and so on. I explaned the details -exactly and true. Unfortionaly, they don't answerd. I wrote a second mail 4 days later – still no answer.
I feel frustrated now. I bought a phone that was claimed to be a water resistend outdoor phone. Maybe im wrong, but i think an item like this should not be harmed by a little bit of warm water. The phone is not working properly now and my opinion is that an issue like this is coverd by the 1 years guarantee. Unfortionally, i get no support by Gearbest.
