Power button not properly working

After one week the power button stopped working properly not even after performing factory reset.
The behavior is as follows:

[*]Insert the battery pack, then push the power button does start the phone, although it seems it takes very long to come up.
[*]Once the phone started screen input and programs seems to run properly.
[*]Wait until screen lock timeout or push the power button to put the phone on standby.
[*]From there on, the phone will remain in standby, black screen. Pushing the power button will not awake the phone anymore.
[*]Phone seems to work, it does pair with other Bluetooth devices and plays music if audio jack inserted, but it will not awake the screen input anymore.
[*] Power it down only by removing the battery pack

The re-seller does not answer to my emails....
Is this a hardware issue or software ?
Can this be fixed ?, how ?

Thanks from Belgium.

Hi,

So sorry to hear your problem .

The Power Button can help you to turn on the phone, right ?

Hi

Yes, that's correct, the behavior can be seen here on this video:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/y0lz7b3nwytmd ... 7.3gp?dl=0

I can turn on (start) the phone, then I can push it once more to put it into standby mode, but it does not work to take it out from standby.
Any ideas ?

I'm considering to open it (breaking the guaranty seals) to see if I can fix it. What do you think ?
Pitty, I love this phone :(

I've also noticed yesterday an screen re-orientation problem. Regardless of the screen orientation movement and configuration setup, it always remain in "portrait" and never goes into landscape mode.

Also, sometimes, for no apparent reason, it hangs on doing something and delays screen input. The phone is still in "factory reset" mode, thus no new apps just a wifi connection and the google account configured. But that delayed response is hard to measure.

Maybe there's some faulty hardware in there. :(

Could I should request a new "main board" to be shipped to my home address ?
I can change it as per in your YouTube video

(I have all the tools and the technical level to do it)

Thanks

Yes, of course, before asking difficult questions on this forum I did that.
Try several times over email and chat, but they do not reply to my messages. They let me down once the sale was over but before that happened they told me that the BV5000 was covered by 1 year warranty.

The re-seller is an AliExpress re-seller, Seven Eleven:
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/102802

There's also the issue that sending to phone back to China might have significant shipping costs.
Which company should be responsible for the device warranty ?

Do I understand that I'm running out of options here ?
