Can I flash it back to Android 5.1 using this manual?

The manual is for windows 10 and I have windows 7, I don't know if I should follow those steps...

Do you choose an OTA date or a flash tool ?

Best regards,

I used OTA update.
Now I don't know what to do, please provide a solution soon.

This problem is global blackview, reduced performance, no charging/low charging. Hours & hours lost time from professional people.

I used the OTA update, then factory reset to try and fix it, lost hours of time during setup that didn't fix it.

This was a great way to ruin a lot of phones and damage your business. Was considering the BV6000 as my next phone. Not buying another blackview if this isn't fixed. I can't trust a company that does this. Please fix it soon!

Hello Admin,

the problem seems to be with both OTA and Flash Update through the Flash Tool (i had to do the update with the SP Flash Tool since i was rooted and so the OTA Update didn't work). I'm now up to 65% (from 40% originally) battery after letting the phone charge while it's off for over 18 hours.
Maybe a factory reset would help but right now i don't want to loose all my data again. I'm tempted to try to root the phone again (with the "update.zip" procedure) but then I won't be able to get OTA updates again in the future.
There are Apps available that can re-calibrate the battery (if that`s the problem) but the ones that are working require root access. Don't bother with the other Apps, they are useless.
Hope you'll pin down the problem soon :)

Charge current of up to 60% 0,44-0,47 A (on other devices that charge and provides a wire not less than 1,25A). Once turned on the phone, the current dropped to 0.1 A. Turn off your phone - current rose to 0.47 A.

Я вчера зарядил смартфон зарядным устройством от блютуза мощностью 600ma.Советую поставить программу Доктор питания и по нему контролировать как идет зарядка.

FYI:

* I had already tried restore to factory defaults, but the battery problem and all other 6.0 problems are still present.
* the last 5.1 ROM before this 6.0 one was the most stable one, but also slower than previous 5.1 releases. Unfortunately it is known to have malware (see viewtopic.php?f=96&t=16170).
* My phone is off at the moment but connected to a laptop's USB 3.0 port. Albeit still slow, it seems to charge a tad faster that way. I'm currently waiting to charge up to 30% so I can downgrade to 5.1.
* Can you please get your act together and 1. take the OTA upgrade offline since it's still available and there are people still downloading that ffs 2. provide an optimized working ROM (don't care if 5.1 or 6.0) with latest radio and no malware?

Cheers

I got the same problem. I upgraded the phone OTA and he stopped normally charged and working.
And I guess the reason.
Invalid set battery capacity for this model.
Battery testing programs show capacity 1000MAh!!!

I ask you to pay attention to this serious problem. If the phone will use these settings, the battery is quickly fail.

OTA-update failed (rooted phone)

After unsuccesful OTA-update, phone went to recovery-bootloop and I spent more than 2 hours before SP-tools allowed me to fresh install latest ROM (fresh install).

So, after trial and error, managed to reflash ROM and phone worked without any problems almost three days, charged normally, no crashes etc, (phone was a lot slower than with 5.1)

Then something in ROM-triggered NO CHARGE-issue!

Left phone to charge over night. And when looked up at next morning, phone had turned off itself. Battery state 0%. Tried with other charger next morning but with no luck. Phone charged to 1% in three hours (phone was turned off!)

Lucky me, had another BV5000 with 5.1 so tested battery in that and charged normally. So took the battery from our another phone (which was full and reflashed latest 5.1, took original battery and everything worked fine, without no issues. Latest 6.0 Rom is a true disaster. And also noticed when 6.0 was running that ROM was way behind on Android security patches, another huge issue...
