Never touch a running system! That's what i should have been doing. Did the update yesterday and I'm really disappointed. I even had to update through the flash tool since my BV5000 was rooted and there was no other way to get the OTA Update to work. Lost all apps and settings obviously. Now I'm stuck with a battery that won't charge over 45% and the damn phone is as slow as my old SonyEricsson with Android 2.3. I tried everything - different cable, charger, charging while off - nothing works. It just won't charge up over 45% and it takes ages to even reach that (trickle charging?).
Unfortunately i already spend a lot of time reinstalling my old apps and setting up my accounts after the update - but it seems i will go back to Android 5.1 (another fresh and clean install with all the setup-work for me).
What gives? Who tested and released this Marshmallow Update? Was it even tested? At least there's not Malware this time in the update-package (The App Malwarebytes took 4 hours to scan the phone, that's how slow it is. With the original Software it took only a few minutes!)
At this moment i can only warn other users NOT to update. You'll be certainly as disappointed as me.
The BV5000 in it's original form with the 5.1 Android was a beautiful, snappy and fast phone. Now its nearly useless. All that waiting for nothing - I'm very disappointed.
Don't wait for another update from Blackview to fix this faulty OS. Even if they manage to cook something up, it will take forever. And who knows what other errors will pop up with the poor people who did the update.
