I've been trying to update my BV5000 to V1.3_20160527_16064 for two days now but with no success. It's shows up under the Wireless update but everytime I get the following error: "SD card error, please check."

I've restarted the phone
I've re-formated the sd-card
I've formated the SD-card as internal memory
I've formated it back to external memory
I took it out and tried to update without the SD-card present
Reinstalled t89j-jk-bv5000-33mgu-hd-128g16g-fdd3m-bom21_BV5000_C1_Blackview_V1.3_20160527_release

It doesn't seem to matter what I try it keeps saying: "SD card error, please check.", I`m really keen on installing that update to get the phone to actually charge again.

What can be done to install the update? Or do you guys have a link somewhere so I can download the update on my laptop and copy it to my phone that way?

some customers with the similar situation with you, has tried a factory reset to solve the problem, and made it.
you can also try this way to see if problem can be solved.
