Recently I found a way to unbrick the phone by following this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3TmXtOA0IA
What I did:
- I Opened the SP Flash tool. Chose only the PRELOADER and hit "Download" (as describe in that clip at 16:38)
- Then I connected the Phone (with Battery inserted), pressed "Volume +" and "Power" Button at the same time. The phone was recognized in just 1 second, but it seems to be enough for download the PRELOADER to the phone. And the download process was success.
- After that, the phone became detected by my PC every time I connect. I could connect it to my PC and flash a full ROM to my BV5000, unplug it and connect to adapter and wall electric socket to charge it. The ROM I used is: https://mega.nz/#!j5tCERTA!ionIz-oaa3t2 ... ANe82kdxWc
- After charging for a while I turned it on. The phone took around 5 minutes to turn on, but it finally alive, and working normally. The Android 6.0 is a bit slower and lacks some functions I used in Android 5.1, but anyway I can use it again.
I like this phone's water proof body, large battery and low price. But I will use it only as a backup phone. I have to buy a new phone while this BV5000 had problem, and don't plan to buy any other phone from Blackview.
The phone it self is great for its price, but Blackview customer service turn their customers down.
Someone saw my clip on YouTube (https://youtu.be/RIE-L33oR9w) and suggested a similar solution. I hope other bricked phone users can find some useful information based on my experience.
