Doesn't feel really right when there is a trojan in your phone and nobody reply with a solution... Same for the update to 6.0...

I did, don't know what to tell you man.

I did a full flash of the most recent firmware through the steps they show around here somewhere, not going to trust some re-seller of a re-seller not to tamper with things.
My phone is rooted (I put up a how-to in this board a while ago)
And I don't install questionable shit or go places with it I shouldn't.

Maybe the app you told me to get just isn't good enough, and the other one was? No idea. I have no opinion on malware apps, been using WP's for years and this is my first android phone.

Hmmm, from the name that looks like an app that has the Trojan, not the OS. Are you still using the awful stock launcher? I'll look into this later.

Also here is a link to how I rooted it. People have claimed varying levels of success with root apps, this I've found works every time.

No I install another launcher ;-)
Can't root mine, I tried again but the app "Root Checker" said that I am not rooted...

Okay apparently I only had a partial root, I had no idea that app existed. But upon firing it up, I had only a partially installed root, enough to crack the door open and play around but not properly setup.

I downloaded Kingroot from here and fired it up, said I had a partial root, and asked if it wanted me to let it fix it. Minute later it was good.

For those doubtful.

No idea why some people have no luck.

Also I did some research on the malware, it's common with BV5000's. Found one guys story of finding it and killing it.
