What kind of a comment is that? Can you be more specific why the board would not support that?
There are kernel sources for mediatek devices for Android 6, so I see no reason why it should not be possible.
As usual, this just comes across as no real developers backing a product.
It would be really nice if one of the manufacturers finally gets that when devices are supported, more are sold.
Look at ZTE and Lenovo for example, publishing sources for most devices.

By the way, I have still not received an answer from any engineer to the question if the compass hardware is simply not available because of lacking drivers, or if the hardware is not setup properly.
As some users reported there is a sensor visible in CPU-Z.
If kernel sources and build scripts are provided, I would be happy to try and add a driver to the kernel for that sensor.

Hi , the compass function is not supported.
And for BV5000 get android 6.0 , now still no news about this , if one day available , we will publish it .
