h.265 encoding

Crown is a mt6592 device
According to Mediatek the mt6592 soc supports h.265 encoding, the build-in camera app only does h.264 is there a way to record video in h.265 natively or do I need an extra video app, does enybody know what video app records in h.265?
h.265 is 2-4 times more efficient then h.264,
