Hi!
Got a new BL6000 Pro which runs the current Android 10 version BL6000Pro_EEA_S1000A_V1.0_20210113V16. For some reason the memory management settings in this version are overly aggressive, killing background apps after several minutes no matter what. Which has the conseqence that the phone is completely useless to be used as a communication device or web radio as apps like Telegram, Webex or NPR radio, all which are designed to run in the background, get killed indiscriminately. And when messaging apps get killed they no longer receive messages or create notifications or can be called, which somewhat defeats their purpose.
To make matters worse, Blackview has severely dumbed down the settings in the BL6000 Pro compared to its older phones which all allowed users to change its memory management behavior.
And before the question comes: yes, I did a complete reset, multiple times, and I had a chance to check with another BL6000 Pro a friend bought to confirm that this behavior is consistent.
This needs to be fixed ASAP as the phone is useless if it kills all background apps after a short while, which is silly on a device with 8GB of RAM. And some user controls for memory management must be implemented as the current lack of control is ridiculous.
And when you're at it, how about removing the ton of cr@pware that has been installed on that phone?
