Just to add, ive exactly the same problem today, fingerprint working fine yesterday, today couldnt unlock using the fp reader, search settings fir fingerprint or finger and no results.

Restarted phone, reset apps no difference.

System managwr app suggests enabking fingerprint reader, so tap it, blue tick, but still disabled.

Phone is 1 week old, never dropped, knocked or been wet.
