BV4900 Problems out of box

I really need some help, please? I purchased a BV4900. It arrived yesterday. Out of the box I notice, 1): No full user manual and 2): the ear phones are missing. OK, I got passed both of those. I get the phone set up on my carrier, but now when I plug the phone in, it shuts off. Can't turn it on while it's plugged in. It has been charging all night...but hasn't taken any charge at all. What is going on here. It's not like this is my first smart phone...I know how to set things up. But this has me stumped. This is also my work phone and I need this up ASAP. Can anyone help?

Hello, have you tried to use another USB to charge it? Can you try to charge it with another USB to verify it?
