My phone is currently showing full 4 bars of 4G (LTE) but is transmitting little to NO data... Call quality and call reception is great, but data... Not so much. I can run a dozen speed tests on this phone, back-to-back, and half of them will show data and the other half will not - it seems like it's always switching on/off. APN settings are "greyed out" and cannot be edited, deleted, and I cannot add another APN to switch to (I am on stock Android 9 that the device came with). Even the factory installed "SIM Toolkit" app will not work, it just shows an error message "SIM Toolkit is not ready or unsupported" and fails to launch. That being said, sometimes I can manually switch to 3G, under the Mobile Network tab in Settings, and it will begin to transfer data again... for a little while... But if I leave the phone in the "4G (recommended)" mobile network setting, it will not switch back to 3G automatically when I lose data, instead it will sit with a 4G signal and not transfer data, at all.
I have emailed Blackview Support 2 months ago, haven't heard back from them, and given the amount of time that's passed I'm probably not going to hear from them at all.

I am having connectivity issues with data on my BV9900 PRO. Cell reception is great, but I am having issues with data. I went through tech support with my service provider and they said everything is good on their end. I have removed/installed my SIM card, reset all settings and performed a complete system restore. I am still having issues. My service provider is Koodo Mobile, in Canada. According to the specs provided, the phone should be fully compatible. It seems I also need to switch between 3G/4G manually, as the phone won't do it. It will show I have 4G reception, so it will not switch to 3G, but it will not transfer any data. If I switch it to 3G manually, it will usually start transferring data. I lost data completely for an entire day, about 4 days ago. The phone is running Android 9.0 and the Build Number is BV9900Pro_EEA_S900AA_V1.0_20200601V09.

Some additional information: I work approximately 6kms away from my service provider cell tower and it's more-or-less in direct line of sight.
I've tried doing a complete system restore - no help there. I've shut down the phone, pulled the SIM, cleaned the tray and sim with electronics cleaner, updated "Carrier Services" and that did nothing as well.

Help me out here, I'm losing my mind!

Hi Jrakk,

Just another user here, I find my speedtests improve when I disable 4g calling (volte) from within my Sim card setting page. Not sure if this will help U but if U haven't tried it maybe see if that might help.
