Android Auto not working.

Hi.
To start, I must say I love my phone. This is my only major concern.
I have a BV9900Pro and found that Android Auto will not work when connecting to a car. The phone recognises the connection and then you must unlock the phone to give the necessary permisions. Once unlocked, it immediately disconnects from the vehicle, a Volvo XC40 with built in Android Auto connectivity.
I have allowed USB debugging. That does not solve the problem.
When going to connection settings for the USB, you can change from charging to P2P connection. If you do that, the vehicle sees a connection for about 1 second and then the phone immediately disconnects again.
I tested using 2 different android phones also. Both phones from other brands work perfect with the vehicle Android auto. Both other phones are mainstream brand phones.
The vehicle software is up to date. The vehicle is not the problem.
All 3 my phones have the same version of Android Auto loaded. Only the Blackview fails to run on the vehicles.
The disconnection is the BV9900pro, not the vehicle. Also tested in a Ford vehicle. Symptom remains the same.
Hope there is a fix for this.
Thank you.
