I'm very satisifed with my new BV9900 Pro (received from Amazon with Android 10), but with the last firmware update I noticed a drop in battery life (during the night, if I put the phone in airplane mode, the phone lost 12% charge the morning after (and there are no apps in backgrounds, all closed). Before the firmware update the battery life was better.
Have you a solution for this or are you planning to resolve this issue in the short term? Thanks!
This is to clean up the memory in the background. It may be that the apk is running too much, causing the background apk to consume power after the screen is off.
I clenead up the memory closing all the apps (I tried closing one by one apps but also pressing the X button to close all the apps in one go.
The phone already had Android 10 at the time of purchase, but before the firmware update (with the last version: BV9900Pro_EEA_S900AA_V1.0_20200817V05_20201014-1302) I have not this kind of problem.

Dear Admin,
I spent a lot of times with this phone what I sould like to use only and I don't thought I had to "hack" it time to time...
So after the OTA upgrade and 1 hour attempts I realized, if I select my carrier manually It connect to the carrier and possible to make calls again.
I wroute about it to the support and they the suggest I had to remove the (original) APN settings , I created a new one manually and set it to default and after it the automatic carrier selecting works again. "Voila"
but ...
I arrived it to the beginning. If the 4G network signal level is not enaough the phone connect to the 3G network but it works usually but sometimes not and switching is very slow and when I'am in a calling after a short times I hear the other side but the other side do not hear me. If i push my sim into another phone (android/iphoen too) they works on same network on same place.
When I have free time i try to record a call same time on both side and make a video about it...

Enter *#9646633# in the dialing interface and find Netork selecting in Telephony, click to find SIM, select the inserted SIM card, and select lte/ma/UMTS/GSM in the options in the screenshot.
Hello Admin,
Thanks for your reply. I'am sorry for my typos in my previous post.
The LTE/UMTS/GSM option has selected on this screen already previusly, there is no "lte/ma/UMTS/GSM" option, so i change nothing (now).

Hi, on the official Blackview website they sell new BV9900pro updated to Android 10 for EU and NON EU version.
Is there a stable Android 10 update for NON EU version or are those phones new hardware revision that do not have all problems mentioned here in this forum with Android 10?

Are there OTA updates that are safe and good to be applied to NON EU version. That is not Android 10 ?

Hi team Blackview!
Are you sending out automatic update for Android 10 when it's stable and ready to use for BV9900 Pro?
Do you have any date of launch?
Best regards Steen Madsen, Sweden

By the way, today 22/10/2020 there was a firmware update of about 100Mb for bug fixed, but nothing has changed. Anyway congratulations, a few days ago I also bought your blackview Tab8 with android 10 all perfect, excellent Rugged smartphones and tablets
Please update to the preivous version, The previous version of V5 was version 9.0

There is already a second OTA that has fixed all the bugs ... At least in Spain.
