Hi Blackview, I'm Angelo and I'm writing to you from Italy, after using bv9900pro with android 10 for over a month I can say that I am fully satisfied, the only thing is that I no longer see the battery usage as a percentage of every single application since last full recharge, all applications make me 0% even if used for hours, for the rest I am very happy. By the way, today 22/10/2020 there was a firmware update of about 100Mb for bug fixed, but nothing has changed. Anyway congratulations, a few days ago I also bought your blackview Tab8 with android 10 all perfect, excellent Rugged smartphones and tablets

Hello,

The New version is arrived to me via OTA.
After the upgrade I can not make any call from the phone, I  cleared the emmc and reset all data but no changes.

I can not use this device as a phone so I'am really reall sad and angry I payed about 400$ for nothing (or a brick).

I bought it about 2 month ago. I send mails and video to the support and no solution.

I think I anybody want to buy a rugged phone try to select another...

Hello, sorry for the delay reply.
1. Have you ever tried to reflash the phone to verify it?
2.When you updated it, this problem happened?
3.Which kind of the SIM card you are using?
More questions, you can send email to me directly so that I can help you more efficiently, here is my email: mary@blackview.hk

Dear Admin,
I spent a lot of times with this phone what I sould like to use only and I don't thought I had to "hack" it time to time...
So after the OTA upgrade and 1 hour attempts I realized, if I select my carrier manually It connect to the carrier and possible to make calls again.
I wroute about it to the support and they the suggest I had to remove the (original) APN settings , I created a new one manually and set it to default and after it the automatic carrier selecting works again. "Voila"
but ...
I arrived it to the beginning. If the 4G network signal level is not enaough the phone connect to the 3G network but it works usually but sometimes not and switching is very slow and when I'am in a calling after a short times I hear the other side but the other side do not hear me. If i push my sim into another phone (android/iphoen too) they works on same network on same place.
When I have free time i try to record a call same time on both side and make a video about it...

Dave from US.
had the 9900Pro for about 3 months now.  I am very frustrated at the delay in getting Android 10.  The current (9) Android version is awkward and klunky.  Apps stop running in the background, web access locks up a lot, no separate app page accessible with a swipe up.  I am hopeful that most of these issues will resolve with Android 10, but the pace  of rollout is glacial at best.  I will wait another week, but after that I will investigate other phone options.  Possible cheap sale of barely used US version 9900pro coming soon!

I really want to love this phone, but Blackview support is tepid at best.....

Hi all, I'm Fabiano and I'm writing from Italy. I'm an happy owner of this phone (it's my second Blackview, the previous one is a BV9600).
I'm very satisifed with my new BV9900 Pro (received from Amazon with Android 10), but with the last firmware update I noticed a drop in battery life (during the night, if I put the phone in airplane mode, the phone lost 12% charge the morning after (and there are no apps in backgrounds, all closed). Before the firmware update the battery life was better.
Have you a solution for this or are you planning to resolve this issue in the short term? Thanks!

Enter *#9646633# in the dialing interface and find Netork selecting in Telephony, click to find SIM, select the inserted SIM card, and select lte/ma/UMTS/GSM in the options in the screenshot.

This is to clean up the memory in the background. It may be that the apk is running too much, causing the background apk to consume power after the screen is off.
