Hi,
Is there already a Working solution since I have the same issue...

Please clear the memory and  cache of myflir app and update it.

Is there a new APK that isn't in the stock ROM?

hello.
i also had this problem.
you probably have a faulty thermal camera connection like me.
do the next test.
call this code in the phone dialer (like you want to call this number):
*#87#
its a factory sensors test.
it will bypass the myflir app and will give you a RAW reading of the phone sensors.
scroll down to "thermal camera"
can you see the raw thermal image?
if you can - the thermal camera works fine and you have a software issue.
if you cannot see the raw data (see black screen) - the thermal camera is defective.

for me pressing hard on the middle of the phone will get the camera back to life for few hours.
it was faulty connection.

luckyly i had buyer protection so i have sent it back to the seller and got full refund.

and bought a new one.

good luck.

Thank you for this info, I had the same issue, and pressing hard on the middle of the phone reconnect the FLIR camera and i works fine (maybe only for a period of time but still).
it seems like the connectors are of poor quality, and that the phone is built in order to permit disassembly (which, in itself, is good). this implies that with time it can dislodge itself, and can be pressed back in. If the issue comes back too much, I'll try a disassembly/reassembly and check if ther is a way to ensure no disconnection.
