Background apps close after screen turns off - whitelist doesn't work

I have critical apps that I need to run in the background; the BV9900 Pro (Android 9,US) force closes all my background apps when the screen is off.

I've whitelisted app the apps and disabled battery optimization on the apps I need plus one turned off Standby Intelligent Power Saving and still my apps get killed.

Apps like WeChat, Notify and Fitness (for Amazfit smartwatch), etc get closed and I miss my messages.

Please help! Thank you!

Go to DURASPEED to open the apk by default, and add the apk in the automatic cleaning to the whitelist

I have the same problem but I couldn't find duraspeed in settings.
Please clarify

Agreed - I am unable to figure out how to run Duraspeed. Can you give some instruction?

I went into settings to search for Duraspeed and only found that it was an app. (See screenshot) There was no way to open it and I can't find how to run the app anywhere

If Duraspeed is the "toolbox" icon in the recent apps pane, then I've already gone what you suggested (I saw the whitelist as a suggestion in the BV9800 forums and thought to try it). Whitelisting didn't work for me.

Same problem here. Even signal, what's up, emails (blackberry app), microsoft authenticator don't work. Have to load them every time again to start receiving messages. Skype works ok thou. Weird stuff. Any chance to get an upgrade to android 10?

Hello, We don't suggest that update the phone to android 10, because the software is not stable right now after some users updated it and feedback some questions to us, our engineer is checking. Please keep your phone on android 9.
