Bv9900 phone wake during calls

It doesn't matter what phone app I use, my phone wakes when I have the phone barely away from face and it wakes constantly by itself during the day. For a new phone, it has a lot of problems. Also, is there a way to get into engineer mode since I have tried all the "codes" to get in and it will not work. I'm simply trying to recalibrate the proximity sensor to less sensitive values.

Hello. I have the same issue with my new 9900 pro. I have tried the*#87# test that show a running proximity sensor in 0 or 1. But the screen is still running during calls...No reply to my message at support02@blackview.hk ... And support01@blackview.hk don't work

Blackview answer: Hi Customer, please back-up your phone's data, then restore the phone into factory settings
Mine: Hello. Thank you for your answer. I back up my phone and before reset in factory settings I tried the preferences ( in french) settings reset and I had been successful without full reset for factory settings. I post a question on the user forum of Blackview but it is still in process for a week. Could you post the way I found to fix the problem for others users on the forum?

And the issue happen 3 times since I bought 4 months ago...

Hello. The problem is that promixity sensor suddenly doesn't run and so during call the screen still run and contact of skin run functions not wanted . The reset of preferences is needed...

Now the internal speaker don't work...whereas external work...a lot of problems in few months....

The problem is an intermittent promixity sensor that doesn't work so the screen still is awake during calls and ear and face touch make not wanted actions on screen..
