Critical update security

Hello admin,

It should be responsible to provide all your customers a patch against CVE-2020-0069 vulnerability.

All your smartphones are not safe, even the new flagship BV9900.

Could you please tell us when you deliver the new security update? And please, it should be useful not to get an answer like "I will report to our engineers". They know that almost Mediatek powered smartphones are now compromised.

You must do that quickly if you really want to stay a serious competitor

Thanks for the prompt answer

Regards

Ok, dear admin!

But the question is when? I am sure that lots of (all?) your clients want to get security updates.
Could you please tell us when you will provide these security updates?

If you sell rugged smartphones but with Android systems that can be hacked, sure nobody will continue to use them. And buy them...

Many thanks for the date of this update

It is a question.
Sorry, I can't promise a time. Because our engineers didn't say it specifically, they just recorded it in the worksheet, maybe they are busy.

Last security patch is outrages (december 5 2019).
You have to follow Android security updates more quickly.

Hi, admin.
I found in net file of firmware BV9900_S1_200320_20200320-2121
In my BV9900 i have version from 12.2019 and no OTA updates for this moment.

What version of firmware last one for this moment and when it comes from OTA?

Just no OTA updates for now? Or no updates (all channels) in future?
Please give me last firmware file for flashtool.

Hello admin,

I have just purchased a Blackview BV9900e.
I would like to know if you already created and launched the patch for "mediatek-su" security vulnerability.

Looking forward for your reply!
