By your comments, @blackview_admin, it seems that BlackView is working on an update to Android 10 for the BlackView BV9900. Can you confirm that explicitly and officially?

I am not asking for a date of when the update will be available nor a legally endorsed commitment that you will provide finally the update, but at least a confirmation that you have intentions to update the BV9900 to Android 10 and that you are currently working on it.

The BV9900 is not ready to update anymore.

Your reply is not totally clear. What do you mean?

Does it mean that at this moment is not safe to upgrade the BV9900 to Android 10?  Or does it mean that you have cancelled your plans to provide an upgrade to Android 10 for the phone?

Kind regards,

Hello, it means that the BV9900 don't have the Android 10 system and it;s not panning to update to Android 10.

I also want to upgrade my BV9900 8GB 256Gb. I just bought this product and expect to receive this tomorrow.
I need to upgrade because of using my hearing aids properly.

What is the problem not to upgrade the BV9900 to Android 10? Because you have got aan upgrade for the BV9900Pro and you have the BV9900E with Android 10.
So please, convince your tech guys to make this upgrade available.

Hello Admin,

I don't understand why the BV9900 forum section has been deleted, as well as for other models.

Anyway, could you please tell us when we will receive a security update for our BV9900 smartphones?
It's absolutely necessary to use your products safely. I'm very disappointed to understand that Blackview doesn't want to update the Android version for their products, contrary to all other manufacturers. But please, at least, provide us the minimum, i.e. security updates.

This is the only way for your brand to be considered as a serious and trustable company.

If not, BV9900 will be my last Blackview smartphone

Please answer clearly, and no generic answer like "we must discuss with our engineers". Please, we, customers, want roadmaps

Best regards

The thermal imagery you speak of doesn't exist on the bv9900 , learn your own phones
Hello, sorry for this inconvenience caused to you. The thermal imagery camera and fingerprint problem are still checking the way to solve and it's unstable, so we don't suggest to update.
I'm in the process of rooting my blackview bv9900 however the latest rom seemingly available on this site is older than my current rom? This will brick the phone unless I'm missing something?
