I am sorry for that.
I think you'd better contact your seller or our professional after-sales directly.

Exactly the same problem...

The stock cam app is full of bugs

Screen rotation doesn't work. All sensors are crazy. Like if something influenced them : magnetized screws inside the smartphone? Hardware problem?
For example, temperature sensor still indicates 18°C, as well as humidity still 48%. Barometer indicates variable measures but there are wrong, as well as altitude.
UV and Air tools don't work at all
OTG USB finally works but only if you're activate an OTG timer up in the tools menu. And it works only with some USB keys. When I want to connect my Samsung SSD external drive, BV 9900 doesn't recognize it. I have only 2 options : format the drive as a USB external drive to transfer files from or to the smartphone, or format the drive to extend the memory of the smartphone (of course, totally stupid option). Incredible when you know that this Samsung T5 SSD drive perfectly works with all my other smartphones, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and 8 running Android 9 like the BV 9900

I have written to AliExpress Official Blackview seller and here, to the after sales dept, with evidences of that bugs (video links).

But no answer at that time

Positive points : very reliable GPS, screen OK despite a dead pixel. But is it really serious for a 400 EUR smartphone? Of course, no!

I can understand that Blackview sometimes faces quality production problems. But I can't understand that Blackview don't check their products before shipping them. It's a serious problem not to include a quality control step in the production process.

At that time, I let Blackview providing me a solution to get quickly a fully functional smartphone, at no cost for me. And I will do a full review in some weeks on the web, either to explain how Blackview is a reliable and trustable company, or (I don't hope) a company to avoid : after sales service should be at least at the same high level than the products they claim to sell. At that time, my 400 EUR rugged smartphone BV 9900 is absolutely non functional compared to my 140 EUR Xiaomi Redmi Note 8!!!

So, I hope that Blackview will be efficient...
